We're looking for a Senior Product Manager specialized in Web Performance to lead
the strategy, innovation, and execution of performance initiatives across a suite of
products serving millions of users globally.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines deep technical expertise in web
performance with strong product leadership skills. You'll own the web performance
vision, explore emerging technologies and AI-driven opportunities, and work closely with
engineering and design teams to deliver meaningful improvements at scale.
You'll have the autonomy to define priorities, identify new opportunities, and bring
innovative solutions from idea to launch while collaborating with experienced product,
engineering, and design professionals.

What you will be doing
- Identify and leverage cutting edge technologies to increase web performance
- Integrate and ship impacting performance features in existing products like WP
Rocket and Imagify, and eventually new performance products - Define with the product team, the strategy and roadmap related to web
performance, based on new technologies, customer needs, and competitive
analysis. - Partner with the design team to define the customer experience that will
maximize the performance delivered - Support other functions on advanced web performance topics and features
behaviors. - Deliver high quality releases in a stability-sensible sector.
- Leading cross-functional planning to ensure on-time delivery and alignment
across stakeholders. - Help the engineering team prioritize bug fixes and small improvements.
Requirements
What Do You Need To Excel at This Job
- Deep, hands-on understanding of web performance across infrastructure,
databases, web servers, front-end content, caching, and CDNs. - Proven track record of managing software projects from concept to launch.
- Data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Deep empathy for customer needs and a focus on real-world outcomes.
- Understanding user needs in the WordPress community is appreciated.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Mixpanel, HubSpot, Jira, Figma, and product analytics
platforms.
